Based in the town of Central, Southern Wesleyan University is a private higher education institution that supports about 1,600 students annually. The school provides distance education through Canvas, delivering a fully online associate of general studies program that prepares candidates for transfer opportunities. Distance learners can also pursue baccalaureate credentials in fields like human services, early childhood and family studies, and business administration.
