Mississippi College

Mississippi College is the second-oldest Baptist-affiliated college in the U.S. and the oldest college in Mississippi. As the largest private institution in the state, MC enrolls more than 5,000 students each year at its 320-acre campus in Clinton. Online undergraduates at MC can pursue bachelor's degrees in eight disciplines. Four of these available majors -- accounting, business administration, communication, and finance -- offer both a bachelor of science and a bachelor of arts to accommodate professional and academic plans. Graduate students can choose from 20 master's and education specialist degrees or a doctorate in professional counseling. The 30-credit MBA is offered in an accelerated format with eight-week classes. Undergraduate admission requires official transcripts and test scores. Graduate admission requirements vary by program. Out-of-state online students pay in-state tuition rates.

29% of students
were accepted during the 2020-2021 school year. Sometimes schools
with midrange acceptance rates have higher standards of entry but
are still accessible to many students who apply.

80% of full-time
students stayed to continue their studies the following academic
year. These students started in Fall 2019 and returned in Fall
2020.
Graduation Rate Insight
65% of students
graduated out of all full-time, first-time students who began their
