Students at the College of Southern Nevada can earn one of 26 degrees and certificates entirely online, exploring topics like casino management, fire and emergency services administration, hospitality management, and special education. All online classes at the college are asynchronous, though students still need to interact with their classmates and instructors each week through email and discussion boards. CSN charges one of the most affordable higher education experiences in Nevada. In addition to relatively low tuition rates, the college awards a variety of scholarships on the basis of academic achievement, financial need, program of study, and/or cultural background. In addition, students living in one of the 15 states that participate in the Western Undergraduate Exchange program pay the equivalent of in-state tuition at CSN. To apply to an associate or bachelor's program at the college, you must have a high school diploma or GED certificate. However, CSN does not require applicants to take the ACT or SAT.
