College of Our Lady of the Elms

Located in Chicopee, the College of Our Lady of the Elms is a private liberal arts institution that serves about 1,200 students annually. This completionist program requires candidates to possess an associate degree in a health-related field. Applicants also need to have a minimum 2.25 GPA. The college prioritizes candidates with two or more years of relevant work experience. Distance learners can earn speech language pathology assistant credentials at the certificate, associate, and bachelor's levels. Students then take on a 49-credit curriculum over the course of 20 months. In addition to required coursework, the degree plan contains extensive hands-on training based on laboratory exercises and practica.
