School Overview
National University's Master of Social Work (MSW) program will help prepare students for a career in a variety of social service settings. Designed to align with competencies from the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), students will gain knowledge, skills and experience that they can directly utilize in the workplace. This program consists of two tracks: a Generalist Track for students that do not have an undergraduate degree from a CSWE accredited program and an Advanced Generalist Track for those that do. Upon the successful completion of the program, students will be prepared to work in a variety of clinical and non-clinical settings that includes local, county and state child welfare agencies, non-profit agencies, medical facilities and correctional settings.
